On 10th Dec 08, After a third day of successive talks between officials of Unite the Union and First Group management, the company has put forward their final offer.
The offer will be reported back to the membership during Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12th, 13th and 14th of December, followed by a ballot of the membership on Monday 15th December.
The union officials and the company have worked very hard over the last three days to achieve an offer that may be acceptable to the membership and therefore avoid any industrial dispute.
However, should the offer be rejected the planned days of strike action for 17th, 18th, and 19th December will still go ahead.
